Flattop Technology

The most distinctive feature of the SRAM Rival E1 Flattop Chain is its unique flat-sided profile. This design allows SRAM to create a narrower chain while maintaining impressive strength and durability. The result is smoother operation, quieter riding and improved drivetrain efficiency.

Hard Chrome Treatment

Hard Chrome-coated components significantly improve wear resistance, a valuable benefit for Australian cyclists regularly riding on dusty roads, coastal routes and mixed-surface terrain where drivetrain contamination can accelerate wear.

PowerLock System

SRAM's PowerLock quick-link system simplifies installation and chain replacement. Riders and mechanics can quickly remove or install the chain during servicing and maintenance.

Optimised for X-Range Gearing

The chain is specifically engineered for SRAM's X-Range drivetrain philosophy, helping deliver seamless front and rear shifting across a wide range of gearing combinations.
