36mm Carbon Gravel Rim

The Elitewheels Drive G36 Performance Gravel Carbon Wheels use a 36mm carbon rim profile that balances aerodynamic speed with better control in crosswinds. This depth gives enough aero support for road and fast gravel riding without feeling overly deep or difficult on exposed Queensland roads.

25mm Internal Rim Width

The 25mm internal rim width is one of the most useful features for Australian gravel riders. It supports wider tyres properly, improves tyre shape, increases cornering stability and helps riders run lower pressures for better comfort, grip and control.

Reduced Hook Rim Design

The reduced hook design is built to provide many of the advantages associated with hookless-style rims, such as lower weight, improved tyre-to-rim transition and better impact resistance, while retaining the added security of a hooked clincher-style bead interface.

Tubeless-Ready Construction

The wheelset is designed for tubeless setup and comes with rim tape and valves installed. A proper tubeless setup improves puncture resistance, allows lower pressures and adds comfort on rough gravel, coarse chip seal and mixed-surface riding.

Kinetic Ratchet Hub

The Kinetic ratchet hub uses a 50T ratchet system with 7.2 degree engagement. This gives quicker power pickup when accelerating out of corners, climbing steep pinches or restarting after technical gravel sections.

TPI Steel Bearings

The hubs use TPI steel bearings with weather sealing to help resist water, dust and grit. This is important for gravel riders dealing with wet crossings, sandy shoulders, muddy roads and regular bike washing.

Sapim CX-Ray Spokes

Sapim CX-Ray spokes are widely respected for their low weight, aero profile and durability. They are also service-friendly, which is valuable for riders who want quality wheels that can be maintained by experienced bike shops.

Factory Stress Relief and Quality Control

The wheel build process includes repeated side-loading and truing to help reduce spoke wind-up and improve long-term stability. This helps the wheels stay true and reliable under mixed-surface riding loads.

Durability Testing

The Drive G36 has been developed for rough-surface riding and gravel use, with manufacturer testing focused on impact resistance, rough terrain durability and long-distance reliability.
