Notable Tech, Materials & Construction

ENVE M.O.D. Carbon Construction

ENVE’s M.O.D. carbon layup is engineered to balance low weight, stiffness and ride quality. The result is a frame that feels precise under power, stable at speed and composed over rougher Australian road surfaces.

Real-World Fast Aero Design

The Melee is shaped around ENVE’s Real-World Fast philosophy, which focuses on speed outside controlled test conditions. The frame is designed for crosswinds, bunch riding, rough roads, variable tyre sizes and mixed terrain rather than only perfect wind tunnel numbers.

Aero Tube Profiles

The frame uses aerodynamic tube shaping through the fork, head tube, down tube and seat tube areas to reduce drag while preserving predictable handling. It feels fast without becoming overly twitchy or uncomfortable.

T47 Threaded Bottom Bracket

The T47 inboard bottom bracket is one of the Melee’s most practical features. It gives riders the stiffness benefits of a wide bottom bracket area while keeping the serviceability of a threaded system, which is especially useful for long-term ownership and workshop maintenance.

Integrated Cable Routing

The fully internal front-end routing gives the bike a clean, premium look while reducing exposed cables and hoses. It is ideal for high-end Shimano Di2 and SRAM AXS custom builds.

Modern Tyre Clearance

Clearance for up to 35mm tyres gives the Melee excellent real-world versatility. Riders can run 28mm tyres for fast road racing, 30mm to 32mm tyres for everyday Brisbane roads or wider tyres for added comfort and grip on rough chip seal.

ENVE Black Finish

The black finish gives the Melee a stealthy, timeless look that pairs beautifully with deep carbon wheels, black groupsets, subtle decals and premium cockpit components.

Product Care & Warranty Info

Product Care

  • Clean the frame with bike-safe wash products and a soft cloth.
  • Avoid harsh solvents, abrasive polish or pressure washing around bearings and cable ports.
  • Use a calibrated torque wrench on all carbon frame, cockpit, brake and seatpost hardware.
  • Follow ENVE torque guidance for headset, cockpit, thru axles, derailleur hanger and brake mounts.
  • Use carbon assembly paste where specified.
  • Keep the T47 bottom bracket area clean and dry after wet rides.
  • Inspect the frame after crashes, transport damage, chain drops or heavy impacts.
  • Check headset preload and cockpit bolts regularly.
  • Replace bearings if they become rough, noisy or contaminated.
  • Have internal routing, brake hoses and electronic shifting serviced by an experienced mechanic.

Warranty Information

  • ENVE frames are commonly supported by a factory limited warranty for the original owner when registered within the required timeframe.
  • ENVE also promotes incidental damage support for eligible original owners, subject to product registration and program terms.
  • Warranty generally applies to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Crash damage, incorrect assembly, over-torquing, incompatible parts, transport damage, poor maintenance, modified components and normal wear are generally not covered under standard warranty.
  • Professional assembly is strongly recommended for headset routing, T47 bottom bracket installation, cockpit setup, brake hose routing, electronic shifting setup and frame protection.
  • A professional bike fit is recommended before cutting the steerer tube or finalising handlebar width, stem length and seatpost setback.
