Quick Brand Overview
ERE began with tyres and saddles, then moved into wheels after concluding that many existing tubeless rims and tyres did not form an ideal system. That system-led thinking remains central to its range: Genus covers premium road and triathlon applications, Omnia targets attainable road performance, Tenaci serves gravel riders and Explorator covers all-road duties. Lifetime warranty coverage, a 30-day trial and UCI approval help position ERE as a boutique alternative to larger European wheel companies rather than a bargain-basement direct seller.

Explorator CCR45The Explorator CCR45 is ERE’s newest value-focused all-road carbon wheelset. It combines a 45 mm rim depth with a 25 mm internal width and a claimed weight of approximately 1,575 g. That broad channel is intended for contemporary 32 mm-and-wider tyres rather than old-school 25 mm race rubber. |
Finally, a local Perspective
"Is the product suitable for Aussie roads? Why or Why Not?"
The CCR45 makes sense for riders who alternate between River Loop bunches, Mount Nebo approaches and hard-packed gravel around the regional rail trails. Its 25 mm internal width is well matched to 30–35 mm tyres, which can reduce fatigue and improve grip on Brisbane’s imperfect suburban road surfaces.
