Additional Notes

Best suited to modern electronic drivetrain builds.
Professional assembly is recommended due to fully internal routing, hydraulic disc brakes and integrated cockpit compatibility.

ightweight Carbon Performance Platform

The CIMA Special Edition Billow is built around a responsive carbon frameset platform intended to feel sharp under acceleration, efficient on climbs and composed during fast road riding. It is designed for riders who want a frame that feels lively without sacrificing stability.

Aero-Influenced Road Design

Rather than being a pure climbing frame or a heavy aero frame, the CIMA sits in the modern all-round performance category. Its tube shapes are designed to support speed on rolling terrain while keeping the frame light and responsive for climbing.

Fully Internal Cable Routing

The fully internal routing system gives the bike a clean, premium appearance by hiding brake hoses and electronic wires through the cockpit and frame. This improves the overall aesthetic and supports a modern high-end build with Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS or Campagnolo WRL.

Electronic Drivetrain Focus

The CIMA Billow is designed for electronic shifting, making it ideal for riders who want reliable gear changes, reduced cable maintenance and a clean cockpit layout. It is particularly well matched to premium 12-speed road groupsets.

Disc Brake Confidence

Flat mount disc brake compatibility gives the frame modern stopping power and improved modulation, especially useful on long descents, technical corners, wet roads and fast bunch rides.

Fit-Focused Seatpost Options

The availability of multiple seatpost lengths and offsets gives riders more ability to fine-tune saddle position. This is valuable for performance bike fitting, especially for riders chasing comfort, efficiency and correct pedalling mechanics.

Custom Build Potential

As a frameset, the Billow gives riders full control over the final build. It can be configured as a lightweight climbing bike, a fast aero-inspired race bike or a refined endurance machine depending on component choice.

Fit Recommendation

A professional bike fit is strongly recommended before choosing frame size, cockpit dimensions and seatpost offset.

Tyre clearance for modern Australian road conditions

The CIMA Billow supports tyre widths from 24c up to 32c, allowing riders to tune their bike for speed, comfort or versatility.

25c–28c for race-day performance
28c–30c for everyday riding balance
30c–32c for long-distance comfort and rough road surfaces

For Brisbane riders dealing with mixed road surfaces and long training distances, wider tyres can significantly improve comfort and control.

Built for racing and long-term durability

The CIMA Special Edition is designed to meet global performance and safety standards:

UCI approved for racing
CE certified for safety
Rider weight limit up to 109kg
Limited lifetime warranty

This ensures confidence for both competitive racing and everyday high-performance riding.

Product Care

Clean with mild bike-safe cleaner and water.
Avoid high-pressure washing around the headset, bottom bracket and bearings.
Use a calibrated torque wrench on all frame, cockpit, seatpost and bottle cage bolts.
Apply carbon assembly paste where recommended.
Inspect the frame regularly for cracks, impact marks or paint damage.
Check headset preload and bottom bracket condition during regular servicing.
Inspect the fork and steerer after any crash or major impact.
Ensure internal brake hoses and electronic wires are routed by an experienced mechanic.
Keep Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS or Campagnolo firmware updated where applicable.
Have the frame inspected after travel, transport damage or racing incidents.

Warranty Information

Warranty coverage is subject to Evolve manufacturer terms and conditions.
Warranty generally applies to defects in materials and workmanship.
Crash damage, incorrect assembly, over-torquing, misuse, modification and normal wear are typically not covered.
Professional assembly is recommended to protect warranty eligibility and ensure safe long-term performance.
Regular servicing is recommended for riders using the bike for racing, high-mileage training or frequent climbing and descending.

Early professional coverage of the Evolve CIMA platform has highlighted its lightweight race focus, aero development and positioning as a strong alternative to premium all-round race frames. The CIMA has been discussed as a frame aimed at riders who want low weight with aerodynamic refinement rather than a traditional climbing-only design.

Industry commentary has also been positive around the CIMA’s clean internal routing, electronic drivetrain focus, modern fit options, distinctive paint finishes and strong value when compared with major premium framesets.

Rider Feedback & Community Sentiment

Early rider feedback around the CIMA Billow and wider CIMA platform has been encouraging, particularly from cyclists interested in unique custom builds.

Common positive rider comments include:

Beautiful paint finish with a premium custom look
Clean internal routing and modern frame presentation
Responsive ride feel under acceleration
Good stiffness for climbing and sprinting
Comfortable ride quality for a performance road frame
