Ultra-Light Carbon Rim Construction

The Overfast Ultra+ Series Disc Brake Road Bike Wheelset is built around carbon rims designed to reduce peripheral weight. Lower rim weight improves acceleration, climbing response and overall ride feel, especially on hilly road routes and repeated accelerations.

37mm Climbing-Focused Option

The 37mm version is the lighter and more climbing-oriented option. With a claimed weight of 895g plus or minus 15g, it is built for riders who prioritise low weight, rapid acceleration and easier handling in crosswinds.

50mm Aero All-Round Option

The 50mm version adds more aerodynamic depth while still remaining extremely light at a claimed 995g plus or minus 15g. This makes it attractive for riders who want a fast wheelset for rolling terrain, racing and bunch rides without giving up climbing performance.

23mm Internal Rim Width

The 23mm internal width supports modern road tyres better than older narrow rims. It improves tyre shape, cornering grip and ride comfort when paired with 28mm to 30mm tyres, which are increasingly popular for Australian roads and rough chip seal.

Hooked Bead Rim Design

The hooked bead design offers a secure tyre interface and broad tyre compatibility compared with some hookless-only designs. It is especially practical for riders who want confidence with high-pressure road tyres and flexible tyre choices.

VONOA Carbon Spokes

The carbon spoke system is designed to reduce weight while increasing stiffness and direct power transfer. The result is a wheelset that should feel sharp when accelerating, sprinting or climbing out of the saddle.

Overfast EVO Hub System

The Overfast EVO hubs are designed as a lightweight performance hub platform for modern road disc bikes. They support common high-end drivetrain options including Shimano, SRAM XDR and Campagnolo N3W.

Integrated Power Transfer

The combination of deep carbon rims, carbon spokes and Overfast EVO hubs creates a stiff wheel system focused on quick response and efficient forward drive. This is a key benefit for fast bunch rides, criteriums and climbing efforts.

26mm tyres: Traditional race fit where tyre and frame compatibility allow

32mm tyres: Useful for long road rides where frame clearance allows

Fit Checklist Before Purchase:

Confirm your bike uses disc brakes.
Confirm your axle standards match the wheelset.
Confirm your brake rotors are Center Lock.
Select the correct freehub for your cassette.
Check frame and fork clearance for your preferred tyre width.
Confirm your total rider setup suits the 100kg rider limit.
Use proper tubeless tape if running tubeless.
Have cassette, rotor and brake alignment checked after installation.

The Overfast Ultra+ Series Disc Brake Road Bike Wheelset is best suited to riders who want a specialist lightweight carbon wheelset that still offers aero speed and modern road tyre support.

Product Care

Check tyre pressure before every ride.

Stay within the stated rider weight limit.
Use proper tubeless rim tape if setting up tubeless.
Inspect rims and carbon spokes after pothole hits, crashes or transport damage.
Use padded wheel bags during travel.
Keep brake rotors clean and away from chain lube or degreaser.
Check Center Lock rotor torque during servicing.
Keep cassette, freehub and hub bearings clean.
Avoid pressure washing around hub bearings.
Have spoke condition, wheel true and hub preload checked during scheduled servicing.

Warranty Information

Warranty coverage is subject to Overfast, Panda Podium or relevant retailer terms and conditions.
Warranty generally applies to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
Normal wear, crash damage, impact damage, incorrect tyre pressure, overloading, poor installation, pressure washing damage, transport damage and misuse are generally not covered.
Wheelset life depends on rider weight, tyre pressure, road surface, braking loads, storage, maintenance and transport care.
Professional setup is recommended for tyre installation, cassette fitting, rotor installation, freehub selection and disc brake alignment.
Carbon spoke wheelsets should be inspected by an experienced mechanic after any major impact.
