RAM AXS allows the rear derailleur to communicate wirelessly with compatible shift-brake controls, Blips and other approved AXS controllers. Electronic micro-adjustment enables the derailleur position to be fine-tuned without using a barrel adjuster. Mechanical alignment must still be correct before electronic adjustment is attempted.

Orbit fluid-damping technology

Orbit is a speed-sensitive hydraulic chain-management system. It uses silicone fluid to resist sudden, high-speed cage movement caused by bumps and chain bounce, while allowing the slower movement needed for normal gear changes and wheel removal.

10-28T

This is the closest-ratio option for road racing, time trials and flatter terrain. Small jumps between gears make it easier to maintain a precise cadence, but the climbing range is limited compared with wider cassettes.

10-30T

A versatile race and fast group-ride cassette that adds a slightly easier climbing gear without greatly increasing the gaps between ratios.

10-33T
