Tubeless Tyre Service

Worried about the hassle and cost of setting up or maintaining tubeless tyres? We got your back. With a correct setup, tubeless should be trouble‑free, clean, and incredibly reliable. Many riders hear stories of constant leaks, messy sealant, or people “going back to tubes,” but these issues almost always come from poor installation, low quality sealant choice or incompatible setups.

When done properly, all of these problems can be prevented from the start with the right materials and expertise.

More Than Fitting

Our Tubeless Conversion service is far more than simply fitting tyres, adding sealant, and hoping for the best. We tailor every tubeless setup to the specific wheel system. We use only premium‑grade rim tape and apply it professionally to ensure long‑lasting adhesion and airtight performance. We then assess your wheel profile—internal width, external width, hook type, and frame clearance etc to recommend the ideal tyre that matches your priorities, whether that’s aerodynamics, rolling resistance, durability, or puncture protection.

Lifetime Maintenance Program

Every customer who has their tubeless system installed in our workshop receives ongoing, labour‑free sealant checks and top‑ups for the entire life of that tyre. This means you never have to worry about tubeless maintenance. We handle it for you, so all you need to do is enjoy the ride.

Classes

For riders interested in learning how to set up tubeless, we have a specific class here to teach riders how to do a 100% mess free tubeless setup.

Riders Frequently Ask
What longevity can I expect from sealants?

Hot/Dry Conditions:

  • Most sealants dry out faster
  • Refresh every 2-3 months
  • Monitor sealant level visually through valve
  • Heat accelerates evaporation of sealant liquid

Humid/Tropical Conditions:

  • Some sealants absorb moisture and become less effective
  • Refresh every 3-4 months
  • Look for sealants formulated for humid conditions
  • Watch for mold or bacterial growth in sealant

Moderate Conditions:

  • Most sealants perform well
  • Refresh every 4-6 months
  • Standard maintenance intervals adequate
  • Easier to predict when refreshing is needed

What are some signs my sealant needs refreshing?

Visual Indicators:

  • Sealant appears dry, clumpy, or separated
  • Liquid portion has evaporated significantly
  • Visible through transparent tires when fresh, not visible when dry
  • Sealant doesn't coat tire interior when wheel is spun

Performance Issues:

  • Small punctures don't seal quickly
  • Air loss increases without visible punctures
  • Tire beads don't seal properly
  • Frequent need to pump up tires

Maintenance Milestones:

  • Time since last refresh (3-6 months depending on conditions)
  • Mileage since refresh (roughly 1,500-3,000km)
  • Seasonal changes (especially heat waves)
  • After long rides in challenging conditions

What are the cost vs. benefit considerations of tubeless setup?

Sealant Costs:

  • Quality sealants: $20-40 per bottle
  • Each bottle typically does 2-4 tires
  • Annual cost: $40-120 depending on refresh frequency
  • Tubeless saves money vs. tubes in long run (fewer flats)

Benefits Beyond Cost:

  • Lower rolling resistance
  • Better ride quality
  • Ability to run lower pressures
  • Self-sealing capability for most punctures
  • Weight savings vs. tubes
