It starts with a simple conversation. Bring your bike into the shop and have a chat with Kin.

We’ll take the time to understand your bike, how you ride, where you ride, and what you want to get out of it.

From there, we’ll create a personalised service plan built around your bike’s condition, its specific requirements, and your riding goals - whether that’s smoother shifting, better braking, improved performance, or simply keeping everything running safely and reliably.

Our approach is based on an individual assessment, not a one-size-fits-all checklist.

Step One: Assessment

Book a free preliminary inspection and bring your bike into the workshop.

This first step gives us the opportunity to properly assess your bicycle, understand how it’s currently performing, and identify what it needs. It also allows us to learn more about your riding style, goals, and expectations so we can begin shaping a service plan that’s built around you (and not just the bike)

Step Two: Getting to Know You and Your Bike

Every rider is different, and every bike tells a story.

We’ll ask a few key questions about how you ride, where you ride, your habits, your goals, and what you want from your bike — whether that’s better performance, greater reliability, improved comfort, or long-term durability.

From there, we’ll carry out a preliminary wear-and-tear check to identify any visible issues, unusual wear, premature component fatigue, or areas that may need closer attention. This helps us understand not only what needs fixing, but why it may be happening.

Step Three: Tailoring the Service Plan

Once we understand your bike and your objectives, we define the purpose of the service.

Using our workshop service menu, we’ll curate the right combination of work to achieve your desired outcome. Every service plan is tailored to your bike’s unique condition and your individual riding needs.

Whether your focus is on smoother performance, improved longevity, enhanced safety, or all of the above, we’ll design a service approach that makes sense for you, your bike and your budget.

Step Four: Quote

After the inspection, we’ll provide a clear quote for the recommended service plan.

This ensures everything aligns with your needs, priorities, and budget before any work begins. If required, we can adjust the plan to better suit your financial goals while still focusing on the most important areas of your bike.
