The Carbon-Ti X-Wheel Baccara X 42 SLR2 Road Wheelset uses Duke Baccara X 42 SLR2 carbon rims, giving riders a shallow-to-mid-depth 42mm profile that feels fast on rolling roads while staying manageable in crosswinds.

42mm Aero Road Profile

The 42mm rim depth is deep enough to provide meaningful aerodynamic benefit, but not so deep that it becomes difficult to control on windy bayside roads or fast descents. This makes it a versatile depth for South East Queensland road riding.

23mm Internal Rim Width

The 23mm internal width supports modern wider road tyres much better than older narrow rims. It helps improve tyre shape, cornering grip, comfort and lower-pressure performance with 28mm, 30mm and 32mm tyres.

29.4mm External Width

The wide external rim shape is designed to work well with modern performance road tyres, especially around 28mm. A better tyre-to-rim transition can improve stability, airflow and ride feel.

Asymmetric Rim Design
