Scope Artech 4 Wheelset
The Scope Artech 4 Wheelset is engineered for riders who want the rare combination of deep‑rim aerodynamic efficiency, ultra‑low weight, and confident side‑wind stability in one premium wheelset. With a 45mm rim depth and a claimed 1120g total set weight, Artech 4 is positioned as a true all‑rounder for everything from long alpine climbs to rougher roads and high‑speed descending. It’s an ideal upgrade for performance road bikes, endurance builds and modern disc setups commonly supported by leading bike shops, professional bicycle service centres, and wheel specialists across Brisbane, Queensland and Australia.
Artech 4 uses a modern wide rim platform with a 23mm internal width and 31mm external width, optimised around 28mm tyres to balance rolling efficiency, comfort and stability. The rim is hooked and tubeless-ready, so you can choose a tubeless setup for lower pressures and fewer puncture stops, or run clinchers with tubes for simple servicing. To keep the wheelset light without sacrificing strength, Scope applies targeted carbon reinforcement around spoke holes (Local Reinforcement) and refines rim shaping using its aerodynamic design process (AEA). A textured rim surface (“Aeroscales”) is intended to stabilise airflow and reduce drag in crosswinds—useful for Australian riding conditions where windy coastal and open-road sections are common.
At the centre of the system are Scope’s 3D‑printed Artech hubs, produced using topology optimisation and Scalmalloy to remove unnecessary material while retaining strength. Engagement is handled by the 36T Diamond Ratchet SL system, made from titanium with a diamond‑like carbon finish, designed for direct pickup and durability. The wheelset uses Carbonlite Aerospokes to deliver high lateral stiffness and reduced aerodynamic drag, supporting strong power transfer on climbs and stable tracking at speed.
Artech 4 also arrives ready for workshop‑level setup with tubeless valves and rim tape pre‑installed, plus tools and accessories that support ongoing maintenance and travel—ideal for riders preparing for events, training blocks, or long distance road rides.
