This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how PedalPassion processes and delivers your orders. We offer shipping throughout Australia and to select international destinations.
Domestic Shipping Methods
We offer several shipping options for orders within Australia:

Order Processing Time
- Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days of payment verification
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day
- During peak periods, processing times may be extended
- You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched
Free Shipping Threshold
We offer free standard shipping on orders over $150 AUD within Australia (excluding heavy items such as complete bicycles). This threshold is subject to change and will be communicated at checkout.

Remote and Regional Areas: Delivery to remote or regional areas may take longer than the estimated times listed above. Additional shipping charges may apply for certain remote locations.
Bicycle Delivery
Complete bicycles are shipped via specialised courier services to ensure safe delivery:
- Bikes are typically shipped partially assembled (handlebars may be turned, pedals removed)
- Professional assembly by a qualified bike mechanic is recommended
- Delivery is typically to your doorstep; signature may be required
- Inspect your bicycle upon delivery and report any damage immediately
In-Store Pickup
We offer free in-store pickup for customers in the Brisbane area:
- Select "In-Store Pickup" at checkout
- You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for collection
- Orders are typically ready within 1-3 business days
- Bring your order confirmation and photo ID when collecting
- Orders must be collected within 14 days of notification
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing:
- Your tracking number
- A link to track your shipment
- The carrier's contact details

Delivery Issues
Incorrect Address: Please ensure your delivery address is correct before completing your order. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrectly provided addresses. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery.
Failed Delivery Attempts: If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will typically leave a card with instructions for collection or re-delivery. Please follow the carrier's instructions promptly to avoid your order being returned to sender.
Lost or Stolen Packages: We are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery to the address provided. If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, please contact us immediately so we can assist with the carrier investigation.

International Shipping Restrictions
Certain items cannot be shipped internationally due to carrier restrictions or import regulations. These may include:
- Aerosol products
- Lithium batteries (when not installed in a device)
- Hazardous materials
- Oversized items (some complete bicycles)
If an item cannot be shipped to your location, this will be indicated at checkout.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Important: International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
- Customs duties and taxes vary by country and are not included in our prices
- The recipient is responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes
- We cannot predict or control these charges as they are determined by local customs authorities
- Orders may be held by customs for inspection, which can delay delivery
- If an order is refused or returned due to unpaid customs fees, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and may forfeit a portion of their refund
We recommend contacting your local customs office for information about potential import duties and taxes before placing an international order.
GST for International Orders
As an Australian business, we are required to charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) on orders shipped within Australia. For eligible international orders, GST will be removed at checkout once a non-Australian shipping address is confirmed.
Dispatch Confirmation
When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation including:

- Tracking number(s)
- Estimated delivery timeframe
- Carrier information
Partial Shipments
If your order contains items with different availability dates or sizes requiring multiple packages, we may ship your order in multiple shipments. You will not be charged additional shipping for split shipments. Each shipment will have its own tracking number.

Carrier selection is based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
- Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Please contact us immediately at hello [at] pedalpassion.cc if you need to change your shipping address. We can only update the address before the order has been dispatched. - What happens if my order is delayed?
If your order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated timeframe, please contact us with your order number, and we will investigate with the carrier. - Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Yes, we can ship to PO Boxes within Australia for items that fit within standard parcel dimensions. Complete bicycles cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. - Can I request specific delivery instructions?
You can add delivery instructions during checkout. Whilst we pass these instructions to the carrier, we cannot guarantee they will be followed.
