TIME Bicycles is one of those unique brands that exist in the space between engineering genius and absolute madness. While the vast majority of the cycling industry is perfectly happy buying pre-impregnated sheets of carbon fiber and slapping them together in a mold, TIME essentially throws that entire rulebook out the window. Their research and development is deeply rooted in their proprietary Braided Carbon Structure (BCS) and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) processes. Instead of laying up stiff carbon sheets, TIME starts with raw dry fibers and literally weaves them into tubular "socks" using massive, highly complex textile braiding machines.
What differentiates TIME from its competitors is the sheer variety of materials they can weave into those structures. Because they are not reliant on restrictive pre-preg suppliers, they can seamlessly incorporate high-tech additives directly into the frame. They weave Vectran into the carbon matrix for insane vibration damping, and more recently, they introduced bio-based Dyneema. Dyneema is widely considered the strongest fiber on earth (15 times stronger than steel)

What's New and Noteworthy?
The newest road highlight is the NXR, positioned between an aggressive race bike and a relaxed endurance machine. It uses Dyneema-enhanced Braided Carbon Structure tubing, a Kevlar-reinforced fork and balanced geometry derived from the Alpe d’Huez platform. Clearance for 32mm tyres makes it suitable for imperfect bitumen and long club rides, while flat-mount brakes, electronic drivetrain compatibility and UDH keep the frame current.
