Genuine Shimano parts

Not much to say, they are genuine Shimano parts that work well. I wore the pulleys on my Ultegra RX100 gravel derailleur down to nothing after a gravel race. These were available the next day and were the right Shimano part number for my derailleur. The pulleys are either G, for guide and go on the top, or T for tension and go on the bottom. The pulleys are directional, so make sure they go on clockwise or they will make lots os noise.

Simple replacement for my worn out pulleys

Pedaling became very difficult on my bike, and I couldn't figure out what the problem was. Then a friend noticed that the chain was jumping off the pulleys and rubbing along the bracket of the rear derailleur. This was such an easy and inexpensive fix. The only tool you need is an allen wrench.

Easy affordable sealed bearing swap for 7000 105 pulleys...

Took just few minutes to swap these out for the stock pulleys in my new Shimano 7000 Series 105 11-speed short cage rear derailleur. They spin noticeably smoother in the hand and pedaling. Great little cheap upgrade.

Super stiff

Not sure why, but the bearings on all of the ultegra derailleur pulley wheels are super, super stiff. This was the second time I replaced a pulley wheel and ordered the ultegra set thinking, “it’s the ultegra, it’ll have decent spin,” but there is zero free spin on these, and the guide pulley had to be actively rotated with quite a bit more effort than you’d want in your drivetrain. I’m not quite sure why shimano puts such an embarrassing amount of thought into these.
