AXS Wireless Technology

The Rival AXS HRD Shift-Brake System E1 uses SRAM's proven wireless electronic platform, eliminating shift cables while allowing riders to customise button functions, monitor battery performance and update firmware through the AXS application.

eTap Shift Logic

SRAM's intuitive eTap technology remains one of the easiest electronic shifting systems to learn. The right paddle shifts to a harder gear, the left paddle shifts to an easier gear and both controls together operate the front derailleur on 2x systems.

One-Finger Braking Design

The most significant update is the revised lever pivot geometry. By moving the pivot higher within the lever assembly, SRAM substantially reduced the force required for braking, allowing comfortable braking from both hood and drop positions.

Carbon Brake Lever

A lightweight carbon brake lever improves feel and reduces weight while maintaining consistent performance during aggressive riding, racing and long descents.

Enhanced Ergonomics

The redesigned hood profile accommodates a wider range of hand sizes and riding positions. This update is particularly beneficial for endurance riders and cyclists spending long hours in the saddle.

Reach Adjust Technology

Tool-free fit adjustment allows riders to position the levers closer or further from the handlebar, improving comfort and confidence for different hand sizes.

Textured Control Surfaces

Textured hoods and shift paddles provide secure grip and enhanced control in wet weather, dusty conditions and rough gravel terrain.
