DUB-PWR spindle-based measurement

The power meter is concealed inside the DUB spindle, protecting the measuring electronics and preserving the clean appearance of the crankset. It measures power produced through the left crankarm and doubles the result to calculate estimated total rider power.

Bikerumor reviewed the SRAM Force XPLR AXS E1 groupset on 17 June 2025 and found that it delivered performance remarkably close to SRAM RED XPLR at a more attainable price. The publication praised the drivetrain’s precise shifting, gravel durability and broad AXS integration, positioning Force as the practical performance choice for most riders.

GRAN FONDO Cycling Magazine tested SRAM Force XPLR AXS E1 on 17 June 2025. Its review found that much of the flagship RED platform’s technology had transferred successfully into Force, including updated carbon components, improved braking and adaptable power-meter options.

Flow Mountain Bike published a detailed review on 11 September 2025 after several months of testing. Reviewer Andrew Leitch praised the groupset’s snappy shifting, composed chain control and excellent AXS compatibility. The review also recognised the availability of both spindle-based and spider-based power measurement as a useful advantage for riders with different budgets.

Routine cleaning

Clean the crankset with mild bicycle cleaner, clean water and a soft cloth.
Remove mud from around the spindle, chainring and crankarms.
Avoid aggressive solvents and abrasive polishing compounds.
Do not direct high-pressure water at the power-meter battery compartment or bottom-bracket seals.
Dry the crankset after wet rides and creek crossings.
Remove excess chain lubricant before it attracts abrasive dust.

Power-meter maintenance

Replace the battery when a low-charge warning appears.
