The ENVE Aero Road Adjustable Stem is a premium carbon road bike upgrade that combines aerodynamic shaping, three negative-angle settings and fine reach adjustment, giving performance cyclists and bike fitters greater control over riding position, handling and comfort on Australian roads.

Key ENVE Aero Road Adjustable Stem Features

Adjustable -7°, -12° and -17° positions allow riders to refine handlebar height and aerodynamic posture without purchasing several stems.
A separate length-adjustment shim changes effective reach by approximately 2.5 mm forward or rearward at the fixed -12° setting.
Aerodynamically sculpted carbon construction provides a stiff, responsive connection between the handlebar and fork steerer.
Six lengths from 90 to 140 mm support professional bike fitting, road racing and custom bicycle builds.
Aluminium clamping components and titanium hardware provide secure handlebar retention and corrosion resistance.

Developed with Team Dimension Data, the ENVE Aero Road Adjustable Stem is designed to improve rider positioning while maintaining the fit flexibility of a separate handlebar and stem.

Unlike a fixed-angle road stem, it uses interchangeable steerer shims to alter angle or fine-tune effective length. This makes it particularly useful for cyclists who want to test a lower position, optimise a race setup or achieve a reach that falls between conventional 10 mm stem increments.

Effective length adjustment

At the -12° setting, the length shim allows approximately 2.5 mm of adjustment in either direction.

Approximate effective length ranges

Nominal 90 mm: Approximately 87.5 or 92.5 mm
Nominal 100 mm: Approximately 97.5 or 102.5 mm
Nominal 110 mm: Approximately 107.5 or 112.5 mm
Nominal 120 mm: Approximately 117.5 or 122.5 mm
Nominal 130 mm: Approximately 127.5 or 132.5 mm
Nominal 140 mm: Approximately 137.5 or 142.5 mm

These figures describe the shim’s nominal fore-and-aft adjustment. Actual saddle-to-hood reach also depends on the bicycle’s head angle, handlebar reach, brake-control dimensions, handlebar rotation and spacer height.
