The SRAM Force AXS system removes shift cables and communication wires entirely, which creates a cleaner road bike aesthetic and dramatically simplifies installation through internally routed frames. The controls feature unidirectional carbon brake levers and a carbon rear-derailleur cage to decrease overall weight while providing a stiffer, premium feel. The rear derailleur utilizes advanced chain management technology to maintain chain tension, ensuring quiet and secure performance even on the roughest roads. Furthermore, the entire ecosystem is linked to the SRAM AXS app, allowing riders and mechanics to easily customize component behavior, monitor battery levels, and perform firmware upgrades.

The E1 controls feature a carefully reshaped, slimmer hood body intended to accommodate a much wider range of hand sizes. This improved finger wrap provides a highly secure grip that can significantly reduce hand fatigue during long days in the saddle. Additionally, the revised lever pivot and hydraulic architecture reduce the physical effort required to generate braking force, ensuring riders can easily access strong braking power from both the hoods and the drops without needing to awkwardly reposition their hands.

Riders will appreciate the powerful one-finger hydraulic braking on long, sweeping descents, which significantly reduces hand fatigue in the heat, while the vast X-Range gearing ensures you never run out of gears when smooth tarmac suddenly transitions into punishing gravel.
