Notable Tech, Materials & Construction

Premium TORAYCA Carbon Layup

The CIMA GR Sahara Nude uses a high-grade blend of TORAYCA T1100, T800 and M40 carbon fibre to balance low weight, strength, stiffness and long-distance durability. This gives the frame the sharp response gravel racers want while still maintaining the resilience required for rough roads and mixed surfaces.

Lightweight Gravel Race Platform

With a claimed 750g unpainted size M frame weight, the CIMA GR is designed for riders who want a bike that accelerates quickly, climbs efficiently and feels responsive during hard efforts.

Aero Gravel Engineering

The CIMA GR is not just a traditional gravel frame with large tyre clearance. It is designed with aero efficiency in mind, making it ideal for fast gravel roads, hardpack racing, open backroads and all-road routes where speed matters.

Increased Stiffness for Power Transfer

The claimed increase in bottom bracket stiffness supports more efficient pedalling during climbs, sprints and seated accelerations. The claimed head tube stiffness improvement is aimed at sharper steering and more confident control when descending or cornering at speed.

Internal Cable Routing

Internal cable routing gives the frameset a clean modern appearance while helping keep brake hoses and drivetrain cables protected from dirt, dust and gravel debris.

Drivetrain Flexibility

The frame supports both performance gravel and all-road drivetrain options. Riders can choose a simple 1x setup for gravel racing or an electronic 2x system for wider cadence control across road and gravel terrain.

Sahara Nude Finish

The Sahara Nude finish is one of the most distinctive features of this frameset. Its textured surface is designed to feel raw and tactile, with natural stone-inspired tones and subtle wind-erosion detailing. The silver foil fork accent adds contrast without making the bike look overly loud.

Fit Recommendation

A professional bike fit is strongly recommended before selecting frame size, seatpost offset, handlebar width and stem length. Gravel bikes need a balance of pedalling efficiency, long-distance comfort and confident handling in the drops over rough terrain.
Who it is best suited for and where it is best suited

The Evolve CIMA GR Sahara Nude is best suited to riders who want a lightweight, fast and visually unique gravel frameset that can be built for racing, adventure and all-road performance.

Industry & Rider Feedback. A few Comparison Options

The key professional-style takeaway is that the CIMA GR is positioned as a fast gravel race platform rather than a heavy adventure or touring frame. Its strongest appeal is the combination of lightweight construction, aero shaping and custom-build flexibility.

Rider Feedback & Community Sentiment

As the Sahara Nude version is a newer model, broad long-term rider feedback is still developing. Early interest from custom gravel builders and performance-focused riders is positive, especially around:

  • Unique textured Sahara Nude finish
  • Lightweight frame concept
  • Clean internal routing
  • Aero gravel design
  • Compatibility with both 1x and 2x electronic drivetrain options
  • Multiple seatpost offsets for bike fit flexibility
  • Strong custom-build appeal
  • Good alternative to mainstream gravel race frames
