The CeramicSpeed OSPW X for SRAM Eagle Transmission is a high‑end oversized pulley wheel system designed for riders running SRAM Eagle Transmission who want their drivetrain to stay fast, quiet and consistent deep into long rides, stage races and high‑mileage training blocks. Available in Silver or Black, this OSPW upgrade combines CeramicSpeed’s latest Further Drive Technology with a purpose‑built cage structure engineered to match the robustness riders expect from Transmission drivetrains.

Instead of focusing only on day‑one performance, the OSPW X is built around efficiency over time—especially in the conditions MTB riders face in Queensland and Australia: dust, grit, mud, water crossings and the constant abrasion that can wear parts and increase drag. The goal is simple: keep the drivetrain running smoothly and reliably when you need it most.

Further Drive Technology: built for real trails, not perfect conditions

CeramicSpeed’s Further Drive Technology combines two key design elements that target durability and consistent performance:

1) Active Debris Remover (ADR)
ADR uses a dust cover design that anchors into a recess in the pulley wheel to help enclose the bearing area. Around that sits a bladed groove structure intended to actively extract debris as the pulley rotates. For riders who regularly encounter trail grit and mud, ADR is designed to reduce contamination at the bearing interface and support more consistent, longer‑lasting running.

2) ALPHA solid disc pulley wheels (14T / 20T)
ADR pairs with CeramicSpeed’s ALPHA disc pulley wheels, using a two‑piece construction:

  • a narrow‑wide composite tooth profile designed to improve wear resistance and reduce noise
  • a solid aluminium disc designed to prevent objects from lodging in the pulley structure, while adding strength and stiffness

This design is particularly relevant for technical riding where debris can get pulled into the drivetrain—helping keep the system turning cleanly rather than grinding itself down mid‑ride.

Reinforced cage structure for Transmission‑level toughness

The OSPW X uses a new cage structure with increased material where it matters, designed to align with the durability expectations of SRAM Eagle Transmission systems. The idea is to provide the benefits of an oversized pulley system without creating a delicate “race only” component—making it suitable for trail, enduro and aggressive all‑mountain riding where impacts and harsh conditions are part of the routine.

Ideal use cases

This upgrade is a strong fit for riders who:

  • ride SRAM Eagle Transmission and want a premium drivetrain upgrade
  • train year‑round in wet, dusty or muddy conditions
  • race or ride long events and want consistent shifting late in the ride
  • want a cleaner‑running drivetrain with durability‑focused pulley design
  • prefer a premium aesthetic upgrade in Silver or Black to match their build
