Gen 2 Braided Carbon Construction
TIME’s Gen 2 Braided Carbon construction is one of the major reasons the Scylon stands apart from typical carbon frames. Instead of relying only on standard carbon sheet layup, TIME uses a braided carbon structure designed to improve fibre consistency, durability, stiffness and ride refinement.
M46J / T800 Carbon Fibre Layup
The Scylon uses a blend of high-modulus and high-strength carbon fibres to balance pedalling response, frame stability and long-distance comfort. The result is an aero frameset that feels stiff under power without losing the refined ride quality TIME is known for.
Resin Transfer Moulding Process
TIME’s carbon manufacturing process is known for excellent control over resin flow and carbon compaction. This helps create consistent wall thickness, clean internal structure and a premium ride feel that appeals to serious road cyclists and custom bike builders.
Aero Race Tube Profiles
The Scylon is TIME’s aero road race platform, with tube shapes designed to reduce drag while preserving handling precision. It is built for riders who want speed on flats, responsiveness under acceleration and confidence on fast descents.
Modern 32mm Tyre Clearance
Clearance for up to 700 x 32mm tyres gives the Scylon genuine real-world versatility. Riders can build it with 28mm tyres for racing, 30mm tyres for everyday speed or 32mm tyres for rougher chip seal, long endurance rides and improved ride comfort.
PF 386 EVO Bottom Bracket
The PF 386 EVO bottom bracket standard gives the frame a wide, stiff pedalling platform. This supports strong power transfer during sprinting, climbing and hard seated efforts.
Integrated Road Bike Platform
The Scylon supports clean cable and hose routing through the headset system, allowing a premium aero cockpit setup. This makes it ideal for custom Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS or Campagnolo EPS builds.
