The Evolve CIMA MGK Team Edition is manufactured using a highly sophisticated blend of Torayca T1100, T800, and M40 carbon fiber, which is heavily favored in elite bike parts manufacturing for its superior tensile strength to weight ratio. The manufacturer utilizes a specialized custom resin formula that increases the overall frame rigidity by 12 percent compared to traditional carbon epoxies, ensuring maximum power transfer during high-intensity sprints. In terms of quality assurance, the brand maintains stringent standards with over 21 rigorous in-house testing protocols for both the frame and fork to ensure long-term durability and rider safety. Furthermore, the aerodynamic profile was extensively validated at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub wind tunnel by former industry-leading engineers, resulting in a meticulously constructed frame that slices through the wind while retaining a dynamic, lively ride feel.

Evolve offers this premium frameset in six distinct sizes (XS, S, M, ML, L, XL) to perfectly accommodate riders ranging from 146cm up to 202cm in height. To ensure that a smaller rider experiences the exact same cornering stability and steering responsiveness as a taller rider, the geometry features size-specific tuning. This includes varying the bottom bracket drop and utilizing two different fork rakes across the size run. The geometry stack and reach are highly praised for offering an ideal balance—leaning towards a comfortable yet aerodynamically aggressive posture—which helps prevent the over-extended lower back fatigue often associated with traditional, highly aggressive European race geometries.

This frameset is the ultimate foundation for dedicated road cyclists, competitive local racers, and passionate endurance riders who refuse to compromise between aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight climbing capabilities.

Product Care

Clean with mild bike-specific cleaner and water.
Avoid high-pressure washing around headset, bottom bracket and bearings.

Apply carbon assembly paste where required.
Inspect the frame regularly for cracks, impact marks or paint damage.
Check headset preload and bottom bracket condition during regular servicing.
Have the frame inspected after any crash or major impact.
Ensure internal cables and brake hoses are routed by an experienced mechanic.

Industry professionals and highly critical cycling forums have closely monitored the Evolve CIMA since its impressive debut at international cycling trade shows like Eurobike. Observers continuously highlight its incredible value proposition, particularly noting that the brand provides transparent, verified wind-tunnel data from Silverstone—a level of engineering validation often completely absent from other imported premium frames.

At Pedal Passion, we absolutely love the Evolve CIMA MGK Team Edition because it successfully shatters the barrier between ultra-premium engineering and attainable high performance. The integration of high-end, maintenance-free CeramicSpeed headset bearings right out of the box, combined with the meticulous attention to size-specific handling traits, proves that this brand is deeply committed to the ultimate rider experience.

Evolve CIMA MGK Team Edition vs. Winspace T1500 / SLC: While both are highly regarded premium framesets favored for custom builds, the Evolve CIMA frequently edges out the competition for riders seeking proven aerodynamics, largely due to its published Silverstone wind-tunnel testing data. While the Winspace is notably rigid and highly race-focused, the Evolve CIMA offers slightly more forgiving geometry and vibration damping, making it better suited for the coarse road surfaces typical in Australia.
Evolve CIMA MGK Team Edition vs. Specialized Tarmac SL8: The Tarmac is widely considered the industry benchmark for the lightweight aero category, but it carries a dramatically higher retail price. The Evolve CIMA delivers comparable premium Toray T1100 carbon quality, fully internal cable routing, and an ultra-low weight penalty, making it a highly logical option for local riders who want superbike performance while saving their budget to invest in premium aerodynamic wheelsets or electronic shifting bike parts.
Evolve CIMA MGK Team Edition vs. Seka Exceed: Both frames cater to the modern aerodynamic road segment. However, the Evolve CIMA’s distinct dedication to size-specific handling geometry—specifically the varying fork offsets and bottom bracket drops—provides a noticeable advantage in ride quality, stability, and cornering confidence, especially for riders fitting into the extreme ends of the size chart.
