BLKTEC L8

The BLKTEC L8 is an integrated carbon road cockpit with a claimed weight of 245 g in 380 × 100 mm sizing. It offers full internal cable routing, electronic-shifting compatibility, satin finish and width options from 360 to 420 mm at the hoods, with wider drops. Reach is 68–72 mm and drop is 120–125 mm.

But Brisbane’s descents, rough patches and sudden storms make cockpit confidence non-negotiable. An integrated bar is not the place to gamble on fit. Get a bike fit first, confirm headset compatibility and use correct torque procedures.

If everything lines up, the L8 is a seriously elegant upgrade.
